In people’s actions – a (grand)parent holding a giggling child, young lover’s embracing, old friends laughing together.
There is much ugliness in the world; this is unfortunate; it will get you down; you can’t eradicate it.
You can add to and amplify beauty. You can focus on and appreciate it. You must look for it. And it’s everywhere! In the formation of grains of sand at this beach, in the clouds that roam overhead, in the warmth of the sun on the back of my neck just now, in the audible rhythm of the waves running onshore ahead of me.
Look for it. Find it. Let it fill you with warmth and connect you with the world.
