There is great value in the attitude of “what the hell.” Sometimes that will save you. When you get really stressed out — things are just dumping on you — and you feel like your head is going to just burst, say out loud: “what the hell!”
What this does is shift the burden off you, so if things fall apart all around you — what the hell, at least you won’t be falling apart! There is a substantial advantage in having holding yourself together when things around you are coming loose.
“What the hell” knocks the wind out of the negative side of anticipation too — dread is dead. Instead of fearing what’s going to happen, you can say “what the hell!” and just roll with it. Whatever comes down, you’ll deal with it – more clearly, more adroitly, more successfully.
